Actually Sandal's has a policy at their Jamaican resorts (since about 2002) not to import any food that can't be found locally. The resort I stayed at also had this big new fancy water reclamation facility and also recycled food waste at local pig farms.

Actually I have to say I was expecting them to use mostly imported products, but was pleasantly surprised to see how much of it came from Jamaica or elsewhere in the west indies. All of the alcoholic beverages were from jamaica (even the vodka) with the exception of the scotch. All of the soda & juice too. The bananas and pineapple were local, and so was the chicken, goat and fish. it seemed that the only imported food was stuff that couldn't be found locally.

oh boy. at least i didn't touch him. but i think im scarred for life. i went to the film lab today and kicked my friends chair and second thought myself with "what if thats not him!" luckily it was.

you know when people say stuff like "oh you don't know me!" for example "nikkita, do you like vanilla pudding?" me:"oh you don't know me!"
stuff like that. i said hey i sent you a creepy text and he said in that silly voice "oh you dont know me!" but he actually meant it. i didn't know him.
